Nigerian singer and songwriter Adewale Mayowa Emmanuel, popularly known as Mayorkun, is gearing up to release his highly anticipated third studio album, “Still The Mayor”, next Friday.
The album will feature twelve tracks, including previously released singles “Reason 2 Japa” and “Innocent”, which features Fireboy DML.
“Still The Mayor” follows his 2021 project “Back In Office” and his debut album “The Mayor of Lagos”, which dropped in 2018.
With a reputation for blending Afro-pop melodies with catchy hooks and relatable storytelling, Mayorkun has steadily built a loyal fanbase both in Nigeria and internationally. His growth over the years is evident in the evolution of his sound and his continued relevance in the ever-changing music landscape.
